Installation Issues with a Newel Post?

We recognise that sometimes the existing installation can have problems. One common problem is that the newel base is not correctly finished. It can either have been cut too short, or be damaged toward the top.

The Utility Newel range are over-sized newel tops that can be used to restore correct full newel dimensions. They are simply fitted like a normal newel, and trimmed to size.

The newel posts are available in plain or stop chamfered styles with a height up to 1000mm. Pine and White oak options are available. Fitting instructions for Newel posts from the Richard Burbidge range can be found here
