Exciting new stairparts from Richard Burbidge

We are excited to be starting the year with the launch of our new Stairparts collections.

The new additions includes a contemporary timber and glass stair system, Elements Inset Glass, a Re-newel Cladding System and a selection of new Shadow Newel Caps.

The Elements Inset Glass Stair System is available in Oak and ready to paint Softwood, with ‘how-to’ and fitting instructions available with the product. It will join the vast range of stairparts available within Richard Burbidge’s full collection. Suitable for stairs with pitches to 43 degrees, the new system can add a bright, spacious and stylish feel to a space.

The stair system consists of 8mm toughened glass panels that slot into an Elements shape handrail and baserail, grooved handrails for the glass to easily slot into, allowing for a quick and seamless installation, as well as a hidden fixing system from handrail to newel. The stylish design allows glass installation to be easier than ever and more practical than traditional balustrade systems, without the need for bespoke glass.

Amongst the brands further product launches, the Re-Newel Cladding System will help to transform turned newels into clean and modern square newels, as well as provide ways to modernise old or structural newels which can be difficult to replace.

The Shadow Newel Caps can help to crown newel posts with a clean and modern touch, creating an appealing 'floating' effect. Its parts are supplied pre-drilled and with dowels for ease of fitting. All new products also have the option to choose from oak or pine stairparts, the oak can be finished with oil, stain or varnish, whilst the pine can be finished with paint.

At Richard Burbidge, precision engineering is used to create high-quality products sustainably and responsibly. The stair system has been Glass CE marked for quality and the system has been Strength Tested to Domestic Regulations for maximum safety designed to resist loadings of up to 0.36kN/m. All of the timber is also FSC certified and sustainably sourced.

Josh Burbidge, Managing Director of Richard Burbidge, comments: “We are excited to be starting the year with the launch of our new collections. The Elements Inset Glass Stair System is an innovative design that we believe caters to the contemporary styles that more and more homeowners, architects and interior designers are leaning towards.

“Statement glass panels are becoming extremely popular and we have created a range that allows customers to install these easier than ever. The added choice of pine or oak stairparts also provides the option of styling this stair system to the desired trend or design scheme.

“All of our new products join our vast range of stairparts available at Richard Burbidge, all of which are dedicated to providing sustainably sourced products with a guaranteed level of high-quality timber and FSC certification.”
