Do you have scary stairs?

Monday, October 24, 2016

So the time is nearly upon us for carving pumpkins, sweets that resemble grotesque body parts and of course, frightening the life out of ourselves with a classic scary movie. Whether your preference is A Nightmare on Elm Street or Hocus Pocus, some of the scariest moments tend to involve someone creeping up or down the stairs.

There are always surveys debating what the scariest movie of all time is, but the three that are always top of the list are: The Exorcist, The Shining and Psycho.

Hopefully, your stairs are not as frightening as the fateful steps in The Exorcist. But if you feel that your balustrade is creaking a little too much and your stairs need a general overhaul, Richard Burbidge have a wide range of replacement staircase balustrade in styles to suit every home.

The team can help the competent DIYer through a project or provide technical advice to your joiner if the project is tricky.

Whether you want to create a Victorian Gothic look with twisted metal spindles or incorporate glass panels to let in more light and make the stairs less dark and intimidating, replacing your balustrade make your stairs a real focal point.

Whatever style you pick, you definitely will not have a ‘scary staircase’ this Halloween season.
